Parksville BC Sandcastles 2016 - Guardian Angels

Finally got to the Parksville Sandcastle competition, the theme was things with wings. I used to make sandcastles at the beach but they did not look like this, so I was in for a wonderful surprise. What incredible works of art! The artists can make sand look like carved marble, with precise angles, and most had a 3 dimensional composition and worth the walk around. This one was called Guardian Angels and did win a prize. As next year will be a different theme, it will be a whole new set of creations to take in.
